Located just a few minutes from our residence at Oye-Plage, Calais is a dynamic town at the heart of the Hauts-de-France region. Known for its history and commercial appeal, Calais is also one of France's main cities with links to the UK. In fact, the town links up with the south of England via numerous daily ferries, buses and trains.
The town is therefore also an essential shopping destination for Brits visiting Northern France. Of all the shopping opportunities in Calais, the Cité Europe shopping centre stands out as a must-see destination for fashion, food and entertainment fans.
