The Fort of Leffrinckoucke is a remarkable example of military architecture from general Séré de Rivières. It was built in 1878, at the same time as the Zuydcoote Battery, in order to protect Dunkirk and its port from attacks.

During this tour, you’ll visit the most emblematic locations of the movie, you’ll get everything to know about Philippe and Antoine and you’ll hear plenty of funny anecdotes… The tour takes approximately 1,5h. Afterwards, you can ofcourse buy a “Ch’ti biloute” or a “Ch’ti” bread.

Le Parc des Hures is a 2-hectare area, the place to be for sport lovers. You can play football, basketball and handball here.

At only a 20 minutes drive away from your holiday residence, just past Calais, you can find Cité Europe: a huge shopping mall with 140 stores, numerous restaurants, a cinema and a bowling alley. 

The coast line of the French Opal Coast is dominated by the Cap Blanc-Nez and the Cap Gris-Nez, beautiful cliffs of chalk near the city of Calais.

At only a 20 minutes drive away from your holiday residence, just past Calais, you can find the Channel Outlet Store : one of the biggest outlet stores in France.

In the Bay of Wissant, you can find the shining and impressive chalk cliffs, right opposite their English colleagues. The best known is the Cape Blanc-Nez.

Take the ferry from Calais and arrive at the famous cliffs of Dover in only two hours. Are you in for some culture? Then you have to visit the castle of Dover.

Do you fancy a round of golf at the French Opal Coast? Prestigious golf “Dunkerque Grand Littoral” at Coudekerque is just the place for you! 

The port museum is a maritime museum located in the old port of Dunkirk that immerses you in the picturesque history of the port and the life of Jean Bart.

With its 10 rooms, located on 3 different levels, this museum learns you everything about the daily life of the German soldiers in Todt battery. This coastal artillery was built by the Germans in World War II and is one of the most important still existing constructions that was part of the Atlantic Wall.

Musée 39-45 is located in Ambleteuse. The 800 m2 museum tells the story of the Second World War, from the invasion of Poland to the surrender of Japan. 

The amusement park Plopsaland is located in La Panne, less than 10km from our Bray-Dunes residences!
